Children's ministries
Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these."

It's sometimes said that children are the church of the future. While that is true, we also believe that children are a vital part of the church now!

Our Vision
Our vision for each child is that we would foster within them the desire to discover God in a personal way and that we would leave an imprint of God's love on the child's life.

The Values we bring to our children's ministries

  • We focus on the character of God as revealed through the stories and instructions of the Bible. The stories are taught as the story of God and his interaction with humanity.
  • We recognize that faith is best passed on and not only taught. Intergenerational interaction contributes significantly to spiritual formation.
  • We believe that children's ministries, like all other ministries, need to have a strong missional emphasis. Spiritual formation needs to have "feet" and not be just about passing on information.
  • We believe that we have responsibility to equip parents and help in fulfilling their role as leaders in their children's spiritual formation.

To help us accomplish this we offer the full range of children's ministries, each designed to bring children to know, follow, and serve Jesus in the particularly joyful way children experience life.

Nursery
A ministry to infants and toddlers, expressing the love of Christ through gentle care.
Preschool Praise
A worship ministry designed for 2- and 3-year-old children, which meets during the worship celebration.
Sonlight Celebration
A worship ministry designed for children 4 years old through first grade, which meets during the worship celebration.
Jubilee Adventure
A ministry designed to help children age 2 through 5th grade engage God through the stories and instructions of the Bible. This ministry meets at 9:00 a.m. on Sundays.
