God provided and protected Israel as they fled from Egypt. God, through his Son, still provides and protects us. We just have to listen to him and be obedient, and "move forward" when he calls us.
Peter learns that Jesus indeed has provided salvation to ALL who love him and call him Lord and that we will be his witnesses to the ends of the earth (not just to Jerusalem, Judea, or even Samaria).
God is charge. When faced with pressure or threats, take it to the Lord through prayer, and do what He has called you to do.
The promise of resurrection allows us to live and work for Jesus so that others can too.
Jesus gives us true peace and sends us, empowered by the Holy Spirit, to act as God’s representatives.
We are called to be meek people, for the meek will inherit the earth. Let us get rid of anger before the devil gains a foothold.
